August Habdash Box Reveal: The Woodland Box

This month our Habdash Box theme took an autumnal turn. We've left the summer sadly behind and begun thinking ahead to cosy nights, leafy woodland walks and of course, bonfires and Christmas!
This months box was based around the cute Art Gallery 'Hello Bear' fabric I found.
Once I had decided on the fabric I based the felt colour selection and ribbons and trims on this, using the Teal shade as a highlight.

The felt colours included in this months box were; Teal, Sand, Turquoise, Sable, Moss, Charcoal, Light Stone and Black. All these shades are available to purchase by the sheet here
The Jute Ric Rac is a versatile plain trim that will lend itself to numerous crafty projects in the lead up to the Christmas period. I also added a cute Squirrel print ribbon and a narrow Velvet Ribbon in bright Teal. Due to the detail of the fabric print this month I wanted to keep the buttons fairly plain and neutral so I choose some of our fab Stripy Buttons and some Wooden Leaves and a pretty Mother of Pearl Button.

As always we included a cute wooden bobbin of DMC thread. Everything right down to the packaging can be reused or recycled, so you shouldn't waste a thing!

The Woodland Box box was extremely popular so we have decided to make it available to purchase on a one off basis via both our website and our Not on the High Street store. The boxes make fab gifts  for any crafty person!
